A Commission I did that was both fun and stressful
 (because of myself, the guy that asked me for it was really nice.)

1st one's a portrait of a character I've had in mind.

but instead of drawing her out, I wanted try photo bashing her to reality.

An Alien Design project

So some time ago I wanted to create more portfolio-worthy artworks and had the idea to give myself a little design project. The plan was to first start with one concept design, and then create a world from it.

Here's the first!

At the moment, I have a few sketches saved up for the next concept work.. hopefully I'll be able to get to it soon so stay tuned! :D

Worked on this as a design test for a game company in Russia. 

Speeding through 1910s

2 hour 'speed' painting of a cigarette smoking kid from 1910. 

References came from shorpy.com, where I get old america references/inspirations. 

UNFINISHED comic story... of Love!

These comic panels are from a Story Development class (in CDA!) I took a while back. It's left unfinished, but I'm thinking of working on it again and finish it soon. Let me know what you think!

Needed a break from rendering a "Lady Kushana" design for class so decided to render out a quick portrait of her instead. Now I'm just tired. :/

Creature concept, quick paint!

Here's a quick-paint (about an hour+) of a creature concept I sketched out yesterday. wanted to try a different painting style in Photoshop and I have to say I like how it turned out. :D

Mermaids and Jellyfishes III: little progress

I haven't been progressing much due to procrastination. (I'm sorry!) But since it's been long since my last update, I figured I'd at least post what little stuff I've done.

Tail body and one fin done. Figured I'd finish the background first
before working on the other ones.

Starting to work on jellyfishes. Also added some warmth to her skin.

Right now most of the stuff I need to do requires transparency. I think  mask layering can help me with that. If you have any suggestions, let me know at the comments!
